This past year has been all about touch. At once ever present through the question of surfaces and sanitization, and yet absent due to isolation and quarantine. Love ones distant or through glass. This piece changes slightly based on sizing and is best at its largest format (in my opinion.) and speaks to distorted pore like figures cast in ominous black. Almost X ray like this composition asks us to ponder the state of “touch” in 2021.
